Joelistics and Charlie Needs Braces continue the Family Jams series, bringing the best of Melbourne’s diverse, original live music scene to kids aged 0-12 and their elders.
Joel Ma is an artist, musician and producer who lives in Melbourne, Victoria. Best known for his work as rapper-producer Joelistics, he is also a multi instrumentalist and songwriter known for his work in alt-rap group TZU as well as in the experimental instrumental group Peril Symphony
Charlie Needs Braces, comes from Naarm musician Charlie Woods. Charlie is a proud GuriNgai woman, a direct descendant of Bungaree and Matora. The lands running from the central coast of NSW along the mouth of the Hawkesbury river and into Northern Sydney. Having played on stage with bands such as The Teskey Brothers,The Seven Ups, WVR BABY, TEK TEK Ensemble, Charlie is venturing out alongside her sister Miri Woods to launch the project – Charlie Needs Braces.
Family Jams is presented by Riot Baby and Charlie Woods.
